I love to scrap!

Nice to find you again! Finally I found time to finish my second scrapbooking layout which is also my participation to the Get Creative challenge of this month. In this try I experiment myself by trying some new technics. It was a color challenge so we were limited in the use of three colors, grey, blue and white. 

So, take a look on what i made...

I distressed the border of the canson paper, I made a mask on my own to give this print on the left bottom of the layout and I used sponge to make the texture of the sky on the right bottom. The cloud, balloon and owl details are from fimo and I made them on my own.

Sewing Fun!!

Hello to all!! I am happy to find you again because I want to share with you a very creative way to have fun!!  On Saturday was a great day, so I took a walk with my boyfriend in the center of Athens and I bought so many things!! Fabrics, different colors of felt, zips, buttons, ribbons....and many more things that you will see through my future creations!!

I got inspired from a tutorial that I found at http://www.noodle-head.com/ and I didn't lose time to give my first try to sewing! I follow the tutorial steps for the basic pattern of the purse but the truth is that I made some changes in it's organisation. Because I have many cards I prefer having them in a different case so I can find them easier.Next step, was that I made a small pocket for the changes and finally I put my personal sign on the outside decoration. I made a flower from different fabrics in a form of a budge, so I can use it again also in other creations! ;)

This was the first time that I try sewing and I am really happy because it's easy enough to create things which you can use on your everyday life! You can try it for yourself making your own alterations! For the only thing that I should warn you is the difficulty on sewing the zip, but you can overpass this by using a magnetic clip or velcro!

Fresh, fresh, freeeeeesh!!!!!!

Here I am again!!! I am really happy because my previous creations had a great success!! So, I decided to make some new ideas with different styles!! This time, I made earrings using hooks for hanging them. In the pictures below I will show you only the figures and not the final result(...because I've already gave them all...!!hehe!).

I feel that they are the cutest and the funniest that I ever made!!!

My Fimo Passion !!

Hey!! Here we are again!! Today I have some free time in job so I don't want to lose the chance to show you some of the earrings that I made. I used again Fimo Light (and yes from the same package...it seems that will never end!!! hahaha!!), acrylic color to paint them and finish them with varnish for extra glow. A cute detail is a small rhinestone that sparkles with the touch of light.

My Clay Passion!

On December I bought a polymer clay, Fimo Light, in order to make a cute figure to give it to my boyfriend for our anniversary (I hope to upload this one also, soon!). The figure was small so I used less than the half package of the clay. I tried to think what else can I do with it and I started to look on the Internet for picking up some ideas. Two constructions draw my attention, clay earrings and polymer clay pendants. I tried both of them with great success!!! Below is just a taste of the pendants that I make!

For this one I used Fimo light in white color. I leave it to dry and then I painted with acrylic paints. After that I used a varnish for extra glow! In angel's feather I put some glitter and on her hair clip a mini rhinestone! To decorate my pendant I used a leather flower in brown color and a small pearl for keeping the balance on the left side!
